Things are falling apart in the world of Zero-One and things out here in the real world ain’t so great, either (though we didn’t quite know that at the time of recording). So, while the world is going mad all around us, let’s hunker down and consider the fantastical problems of fake people and hopefully get something from their struggles we can take with us into reality.
Oh, wait, I’m sorry. I’m being informed that one of the episodes under consideration necessarily has us touching on some uncomfortable real-world stuff.
No way to sugarcoat it, but one of these episodes touches on some areas of antiblackness that neither of your humble hosts are equipped to discuss with any real, lived experience but we do at least try to frame our discomfort while trying to stay in our lane but also trying to talk about the uncomfortable things that happen when you mix the concept of near-human nonhumans with actual real social/racial politics which affect real actual people who really actually exist. If that’s not your thing…
Yeah, we totally get that.
